In the November–December 2007 issue of the National Geographic Traveler's magazine, Palawan was chosen as one of the best travel destinations in the world, and particularly, it recommended El Nido and the Calamianes Islands.

I have read and heard a lot about El Nido and my interest to visit the place had increased after reading your post in this great blog. Nice island escapade indeed! Reminds me also of the rock formations and islets of Sohoton Cove in Bucas Grande Island.
